Dr. Dianna Stewart

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Stewart has lived in Burlington since childhood. She spent most of her youth working at a horse barn in Oakville and her love of horses and other animals, including her very special childhood dog Storm, created a passion for animal care that lead to a career in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of Guelph for her undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008. She practiced at a clinic in Oakville after graduation and stayed there until deciding to buy Orchard Animal Hospital with Dr. D'Amico in 2017. Dr. Stewart still lives in Burlington with her husband, three young children, as well as their pets, a Border Collie/Newfoundland named Flower and two cats named Frost and Dazzler. In her free time Dr. Stewart loves reading, running with Flower, playing soccer and spending time with her busy family.

Dr. Diana D'Amico

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Diana D'Amico has been practicing small animal medicine since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. She worked as an associate in several different practices before deciding to purchase Orchard Animal Hospital in 2017 with Dr. Stewart. As a family, they love playing board games and spending time outdoors.

Kevin - In Memoriam

Former Official Greeter and Clinic Mascot

Kevin was put down in May 2025 after he was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumour. He was loved by all until the very end, and is missed dearly.

Kevin came to us in July 2017 needing a checkup after being rescued from a cat colony in the Niagara area. Kevin was emaciated, had fleas and was soon found to be FIV+. He also walked with a limp and had dental disease. Despite all of this, he was a sweet guy who stole our hearts right away! With everything stacked against him, and the huge number of cats needing homes, there was a fear that he was not going to be adoptable. The team here at Orchard jumped at the chance to take him in, and soon after Kevin became an official member of the Orchard Animal Hospital team! He soon began eating like a champ (and stealing our food whenever he got the chance) and has made himself quite at home! He was often found on a lap or keyboard, or perhaps curled up in someone's chair. He loved kids, disliked dogs, and would often chat with other cats in the clinic. He loved to come up front to say hi, and maybe steal a catnip toy, whenever anyone stopped by. He was a great clinic cat. We love you Kevin!
