Dr. Dianna Stewart

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Stewart has lived in Burlington since childhood. She spent most of her youth working at a horse barn in Oakville and her love of horses and other animals, including her very special childhood dog Storm, created a passion for animal care that lead to a career in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of Guelph for her undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008. She practiced at Abbey Animal Hospital in Oakville after graduation and stayed there until deciding to buy Orchard Animal Hospital with Dr. D'Amico in 2017. Dr. Stewart still lives in Burlington with her husband, three young children, as well as their pets, dogs Rogue and Lemon and cats Westley and Buttercup. In her free time Dr. Stewart loves running, playing soccer and spending time with her busy family.

Dr. Diana D'Amico

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Diana D'Amico has been practicing small animal medicine since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. She worked as an associate in several different practices before deciding to purchase Orchard Animal Hospital in 2017 with Dr. Stewart. She resides in Burlington with her husband and son, as well as their cats Pumpkin and Montana and dog Raon. When not at the clinic, her favourite pastime is watching her son play hockey. As a family, they love playing board games and spending time outdoors.

Lidia B.

Office Manager

Lidia has more than 20 years of experience working in veterinary clinics. She started at 17 years old working at a clinic in Mississauga as a co-op student. Because of her love for animals and interest in veterinary medicine, she decided to continue to pursue a career in the field. She attended Sheridan College and obtained a certificate in the Animal Care program. Soon after that, she attended Ridgetown College and obtained a certificate in the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program. Lidia was happy to get back into the veterinary clinic setting when she joined the Orchard Animal Hospital team in September, 2017.
Lidia and her husband live in Burlington with their 3 young children, rescue cat Storm and dog, a young lab named Ruby.

Katelyn M.

Receptionist

Katelyn joined the Orchard Animal Hospital team as full time receptionist in 2023. She graduated from the Animal Care program at Sheridan College in 2020. She hopes to gain work experience in the veterinary field to help pursue a future career with animal services. Katelyn has a Cocker Spaniel/Havanese mix named Max who loves going for walks and snacking on sweet potato treats. She loves spending weekends up north fishing on a sunny summer day.

Vivian B.

Head RVT

Vivian moved to Ontario in 2017 to attend the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College. Since graduating and becoming licensed she has worked mainly with cats and dogs, but has experience with some exotic and pocket pets as well. Vivian is a Hufflepuff and loves a good book. She joined the Orchard Animal Hospital team in 2022 and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog, Donatello, cooking, and embroidery.

Kevin

Official Greeter and Clinic Mascot

Kevin came to us in July of 2017 needing a checkup after being rescued from a cat colony in the Niagara area. Kevin was emaciated, had fleas and was soon found to be FIV+. He also walked with a limp and had dental disease. Despite all of this, he was a sweet guy who stole our hearts right away! With everything stacked against him, and the huge number of cats needing homes, there was a fear that he was not going to be adoptable. The team here at Orchard jumped at the chance to take him in, and soon after Kevin became an official member of the Orchard Animal Hospital team! He soon began eating like a champ (and stealing our food whenever he got the chance) and has made himself quite at home! He can be found on a lap or keyboard most of the time, or perhaps curled up in someone's chair. He loves kids, dislikes dogs, will often chat with other cats in the clinic and loves to come up front to say hi, and maybe steal a catnip toy, whenever anyone stops by. We love Kevin and couldn't imagine the clinic without him!
