Dr. Dianna Stewart

Dr. Stewart has lived in Burlington since childhood. She spent most of her youth working at a horse barn in Oakville and her love of horses and other animals, including her very special childhood dog Storm, created a passion for animal care that lead to a career in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of Guelph for her undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008. She practiced at Abbey Animal Hospital in Oakville after graduation and stayed there until deciding to buy Orchard Animal Hospital with Dr. D'Amico in 2017. Dr. Stewart still lives in Burlington with her husband, three young children, as well as their pets, dogs Rogue and Lemon and cats Westley and Buttercup. In her free time Dr. Stewart loves running, playing soccer and spending time with her busy family.

Dr. Diana D'Amico

Dr. Diana D'Amico has been practicing small animal medicine since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. She worked as an associate in several different practices before deciding to purchase Orchard Animal Hospital in 2017 with Dr. Stewart. She resides in Burlington with her husband and son, as well as their cats Pumpkin and Montana and dog Raon. When not at the clinic, her favourite pastime is watching her son play hockey. As a family, they love playing board games and spending time outdoors.

Mary N.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Mary recently graduated from Ridgetown College in 2018 with a diploma in Veterinary Technology. Upon graduation, she became a Registered Veterinary Technician and joined the Orchard Animal Hospital team. Mary enjoys assisting in surgery and nursing care as well as small animal dentistry.
When not working, Mary spends her time with friends, family and her three rabbits - Buddy, Ty and Charlie.

Reghan M.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Reghan graduated from the veterinary technician program at Sheridan College in 2013. She was successful in her registry exam and earned the title of a Registered Veterinary Technician later that year. She has always had a love for animals, and during her high school co-op she was certain that a career as a veterinary technician was for her. She began working at Orchard Animal Hospital in September 2018, and is very excited to be a part of such a wonderful team!
Reghan lives in Hamilton with her husband, son, two conure birds named Louis and Nova, and cat named Nino. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, playing piano and spending time with her family.

Lidia B.

Lidia has more than 20 years of experience working in veterinary clinics. She started at 17 years old working at a clinic in Mississauga as a co-op student. Because of her love for animals and interest in veterinary medicine, she decided to continue to pursue a career in the field. She attended Sheridan College and obtained a certificate in the Animal Care program. Soon after that, she attended Ridgetown College and obtained a certificate in the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program. Lidia was happy to get back into the veterinary clinic setting when she joined the Orchard Animal Hospital team in September, 2017.
Lidia and her husband live in Burlington with their 3 young children, rescue cat Storm and dog, Mollie. Mollie is a Boggle (Beagle, Boston Terrier) who is just as rambunctious as the kids.

Alisha T.

Receptionist/Animal Care Attendant

Alisha has always wanted to help animals in need, but had never considered the path of employment within the field of veterinary medicine until last year. Alisha is currently attending Sheridan college full time online for Office Administration and realized she could put her skills to good used and mix her passion for animals with her education.
Alisha grew up in Waterdown and has two dogs - Layce, and Copper. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys going on long hikes and horseback riding with friends and family.

Daniela M.

Animal Care Attendant

Daniela started with us as a student volunteer, but was soon promoted to a full-fledged team member! Daniela attends Corpus Christ Catholic Secondary school. She loves riding horses and taking care of animals in her spare time. She has a Maltese X Poodle named Bella.
Daniela has wanted to be a veterinarian since junior kindergarten, and she hopes to attend the University of Guelph or UBC studying veterinary medicine after graduating high school.

Official Greeter and Clinic Mascot

Kevin came to us in July of 2017 needing a checkup after being rescued from a cat colony in the Niagara area. Kevin was emaciated, had fleas and was soon found to be FIV+. He also walked with a limp and had dental disease. Despite all of this, he was a sweet guy who stole our hearts right away! With everything stacked against him, and the huge number of cats needing homes, there was a fear that he was not going to be adoptable. The team here at Orchard jumped at the chance to take him in, and soon after Kevin became an official member of the Orchard Animal Hospital team! He soon began eating like a champ (and stealing our food whenever he got the chance) and has made himself quite at home! He can be found on a lap or keyboard most of the time, or perhaps curled up in someone's chair. He loves kids, dislikes dogs, will often chat with other cats in the clinic and loves to come up front to say hi, and maybe steal a catnip toy, whenever anyone stops by. We love Kevin and couldn't imagine the clinic without him!
